After a couple of weeks with my Arnova 7 G2 Android tablet from the Carphone Warehouse I’m happy to report that it is better than the abomination that was the Disgo 7000.

This tablet works properly, will turn off and on again and generally feels like it’s up to the job.

Again, to me it’s a million miles away from an iPad but that’s the point. It will be used for testing, and maybe reading books on the train.

Setting it up was quick and easy, and everything worked as it should. Even though it’s only got 4GB internal storage, there is plenty of space for apps and media should I choose to.

It’s got a very basic camera which is frankly quite rubbish, buy I’m not bothered. I wouldn’t use the camera on my iPad if it had one, so can’t see myself using this one.
